Our Beginning
Growing Our Roots in a Small Town
Founded by Bryan & Nikki Rivard in 2019, we are proud to be part of the farming community in the small town of Harwinton, CT, where we raise our three beautiful girls and consider ourselves thankful for the things we have. Our story starts out like most goat romances; love at first goat! What was initially an "oh we'll just keep it small" became an instant passion for both us and our three daughters. We all quickly feel feel over hooves in love with the Nigerian Dwarf goat breed and have since devoted ourselves to our herd and farm.
OUR REBUILD
After nearly two years of hard work and dedication we experienced several hardships that had us questioning whether our journey was worth continuing. With months of reflection on the reasons we started our herd and the words of encouragement from several members of the amazing goat community we had become part of, we decided rather than sell off our herd we were going to go through a complete rebuild of it. 2021 has started with our rebuild, priding ourselves on transparency and full disclosure in order to ensure the best experience for all our buyers and any future buyers. As we continue to rebuild our herd we are striving to better the breed and breed goats that will not only excel in the show ring but the milk pail as well.
Despite the many hardships faced we are excited for the next chapter of our herd and hope that you will follow along and watch us grow and help others around us grow as well!
